Brave New World draft 1

Sorry for Tuesdays missing post, Crazy day, I just got off a 10 and ½ food service hour day so my brains pretty well tapped, but I’v got to get this out

Recently while I was at work shoveling ideas around in my head, while my body gets paid… you know what I mean. A lot of things started lining up and I start thinking in a Dr. King kind of a voice and what came out of it was my Brave new world, before I dive in to it, let me explain what I mean by a BNW Idea
Some people have a vision of something that was so big, you didn’t even know where to start. Some people call big dreams like that A B-HAG’s (Big –Hairy Audacious Goal) but what I have, I feel, is bigger then a B-HAG it’s a Brave New World.
It’s Brave because I have no idea how to get started, and it’s going to involve a culture of life change, both in myself, and in many other people, moving so for out of “our comfort zones” it’s not even funny, to become complete, that’s Brave. The New is the way I see us acting, and relating w/ people in ways that I’ve never know any people group on the planet to, to get results rarely seen , and that’s new. And it’s a world because it involves our world physically, culturally, spiritually, mentally, our world as we see it from the globe, to just the places we relate to. By now your ether really exited, or really scratching your head wondering what I’m going on about
What I’m going on about is a new way for people who call themselves believers to express there belief. I dream of a world where we can put away such titles as Baptist and Catholic, Jew and Gentile, Gay and straight, and replace them with titles like Brother and Sister. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not saying we all get to gather drink a coke, sing a song and pretend God doesn’t still move in the world, that there aren’t moral boundaries on the world. What I’m saying is we need to respect others choices of where those boundaries fall, to be less concerned with who’s right but what’s right. To love people enough to see past your differences, and trust God enough to change those things that need to. When we don’t measure our holiness by how well we attack others faith, and how closely we can quote some one else who we believe was close to God when they lived, and more measure by how well we live with God in the day we live. There are many arguments in the in the Christian world of works V. faith, and works w/o faith, and faith w/o works, and all that seems to put too much faith in works and too much work in faith, I suggest a fruit based faith. Where we are open to being wrong, where we no long need to check our closeness to some one else’s understanding to God to see how close we are to God. God is not dead, and he can speak for himself. I envision a Christian Nation, not one where Christian Conservatives allow republicans to tell Christians how to live, and not even one were Christians tell conservatives how to live; it’s one nations of faiths under God, where see our “denominations” to act like states, trying to do what’s best for the country, not countries fighting over humans like resources, in some kind of global famine. All that dose is poison people against church all together, and that often puts them off on God for some long locust-eaten-years. I see God as the executive branch, denominations as states, ministers congress and christens and citizens. In a world where people are searching for something to search for, the way “church” is done now, will not attract them in the future, we have to present a searchable aw of who God is, and a reflection of his Love on how we love those that also claim him, but not us.
